Community Paramedic Coordinator

Join ALTA Paramedic Health as an Advanced Care Paramedic in Calgary and play a pivotal role in the Mobile Integrated Healthcare-Coordination Center. Deliver advanced patient care while working collaboratively with healthcare teams.

In this position, you will guide EMS crews and community healthcare providers while managing emergency situations with informed clinical judgment. Your contribution will link patients to necessary resources and practice rigorous clinical competencies amidst various challenging conditions. Expect to engage in physically demanding tasks while ensuring readiness and compliance of transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and manage emergency scene responses

• Provide ALS and emergency care to patients

• Maintain and stock transport units and ambulances

• Mentor Community Paramedics within the unit

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals effectively

Requirements:

• Registration with Alberta College of Paramedics as ACP

• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification

• Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence eligibility

• Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation

• Capability to handle full operational duties from start
