Health Care Aide at Covenant Care

Covenant Care seeks a compassionate Health Care Aide for temporary full-time work in a home-like environment. Make a meaningful impact on residents' lives while supporting their dignity and independence.

As a Health Care Aide (HCA), you will be a crucial part of the care team, promoting and ensuring quality care in alignment with Covenant Care's mission and values. You will assist residents with personal care needs, offer social support, and facilitate participation in active leisure activities. Effective communication skills and sensitivity to confidentiality are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care that respects residents' dignity and choice

• Support residents and their families with social interactions

• Maintain effective collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams

• Promote teamwork and cooperation among staff

• Model Covenant Care’s mission and values in all actions

Requirements:

• Completed Health Care Aide Certificate

• Proof of enrollment in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

• 6 months to 1 year experience preferred

• Fluent English;
French is an asset

• Vaccination against communicable diseases required
