About the Role

Client Service Technician (Open) –

Location:

Calgary, AB – 53rd NE (RHS) – Respiratory Therapy. The CST transports, delivers, and installs homecare equipment, including oxygen cylinders, ensuring safe vehicle operation and providing outstanding customer service. The CST educates patients on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the equipment while following Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada’s safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to team effort by supporting other team members to satisfy both internal and external customers.
  • Comply with organizational vehicle policies, procedures, and highway regulations while ensuring safe supply of gases to clients’ homes.
  • Inspect vehicle before and after use; document inspections and maintain a clean vehicle stocked with necessary PPE, safety equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Deliver products according to schedule and client needs.
  • Set up homecare equipment at patients’ homes, provide training to new clients, respond to current client requests, and offer education on equipment function, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform technical checks, review safety instructions with clients, and complete documentation for technical visits, including equipment exchanges, deliveries, and pick‑ups.
  • Ensure operation of medical equipment by completing preventative maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and managing downstream workflow if work exceeds the CST’s qualifications.
  • Perform warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping and receiving products, cleaning and disinfecting patient equipment.
  • Document client care and services with clear, accurate, and timely delivery records.
  • Maintain client confidentiality per Air Liquide Healthcare policy and local regulations.
  • Protect clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Continuously improve branch operations by understanding processes, participating in workflow improvements, and engaging in quality improvement activities.
  • Comply with applicable certification requirements and recommend actions to management.
  • Provide after‑hour service to clients as part of the branch on‑call rotation.
  • Support respiratory therapists and other health professionals with remote patient assessment via teleconsultation, video conferencing, or telephone follow‑up.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective use of products and treatment.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by participating in safety meetings and initiatives, working safely, encouraging others, and reporting unsafe occurrences or practices.
  • Ensure correct vehicle loading by identifying product requirements and unloading in compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Alberta class 5 driver’s license.
  • Criminal and vulnerable sector police check.
