At Carewest, you'll work as an integral member of the interprofessional healthcare team reporting to the Director of Care. This role involves observing, monitoring, and directly reporting client changes, ensuring comprehensive support that includes accurate medication delivery.
Experience with mental health diagnoses, neurological conditions, and younger adults with chronic diseases is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing client care and support
• Monitor and report on client status changes
• Deliver prescribed medications accurately
• Maintain professional standards per Carewest policies
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required;
Health Care Aide program completion
• Alberta CLHA registration is necessary
• Strong communication skills in English
• Related health care experience is an asset
• Physical capability for client support tasks
