Position: Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee
Become a Health Care Aide at Age Care Shawnee in Calgary, Alberta. Collaborate with an excellent care team to provide compassionate, resident-focused care and support.

In this temporary full-time role, you'll assist residents under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your responsibilities include observing resident status changes, facilitating mobility, and contributing to the Nursing Care Plan. Bring your communication and interpersonal skills to enhance the lives of seniors in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to residents within your practice

• Observe and report on residents' changing conditions

• Assist in developing individualized Nursing Care Plans

• Support residents in community activities and functions

• Report any unsafe conditions for resident safety

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Health Care Aide program or equivalent

• Experience in community health services for seniors

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support recommended

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting
