This full-time role at Lifemark involves direct collaboration with healthcare professionals to facilitate return-to-work solutions for WCB Alberta clients, motor vehicle accident victims, and those with long-term disability claims. You will primarily deploy a CBT approach, ensuring a client-centered philosophy in your interventions while adapting to evolving schedules and team needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide education and interventions to clients with workplace injuries
• Utilize CBT methodologies tailored to client needs
• Generate and communicate comprehensive psychological reports
• Manage psychological cases and guide interdisciplinary teams
• Help in discharge planning and conflict resolution
Requirements:
• Registered with College of Alberta Psychologists
• Experience in occupational rehabilitation assessment
• Knowledge of WCB and insurance processes
• Ability to adapt to dynamic priorities
• Proficiency in psychological assessments like MMPI-3
