Embark on a rewarding career as a Physical Therapist I with Carewest in Glenmore Park. Focus on assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation to optimize patient recovery in our supportive environment.
This temporary full-time role, ending July 31, 2026, plays a crucial part in the Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program r responsibilities will include client assessments, therapy planning, and enhancing residents’ independence through targeted interventions. You may also have opportunities for supervising internship candidates in a hands-on clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments for client rehabilitation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols
• Plan safe discharge for residents returning home
• Offer clinical supervision to students and peers
• Engage in additional tasks to foster recovery
Requirements:
• Graduated from a recognized Physical Therapy program
• Must be registered with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta
• AADL authorizer qualification is advantageous
• Prior experience in clinical care settings is beneficial
• New graduates and interns encouraged to apply
