Position: Therapeutic Recreation Assistant Role

In this role under the Recreation Manager, you will assist in the design and implementation of engaging activities that reflect wellness dimensions. Your responsibilities include collaborating on resident assessments, providing one-on-one support, and ensuring safe participation in programs. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement engaging recreational activities for residents

• Partner with families to gather resident histories

• Create and maintain accurate documentation

• Assist with seasonal events and reports

• Evaluate and monitor activity effectiveness

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized recreation program

• Active certifications in CPR and Food Safe

• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully

• Experience in a residential care setting

• Flexibility to adapt activities as needed
