Health Care Aide at Drumheller Health Center

Location: Drumheller

Support elderly clients with care at Drumheller Health Center as a Health Care Aide. This role focuses on personal care and client-centered support for those with dementia.

As a vital part of the nursing care team at the 88-bed Long Term Care unit, you will assist clients daily while demonstrating respect and genuine interest. You will participate in routine care and maintain patient safety while providing emotional support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care needs and daily living activities

• Support nurses in meeting hygiene and nutritional requirements

• Participate in activities and observe patients’ wellbeing

• Maintain safety for patients, staff, and visitors

• Collaborate with health professionals during care delivery

Requirements:

• Registration or permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta

• Health Care Aide Certificate completion within 18 months
