Support the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine by serving as a Simulated Client, enriching student experiences in the DVM program with your acting skills and communication expertise. Help teach essential professional skills.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for Simulated Clients to facilitate learning in their veterinary program. This position demands the ability to portray emotional and clinical scenarios effectively while providing constructive feedback to learners. Prioritization is given to individuals who can consistently attend multiple sessions each semester.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in professional skills laboratory activities
• Accurately portray assigned clinical scenarios
• Provide feedback from a client perspective upon request
• Complete required onboarding and training sessions
• Uphold confidentiality regarding student information
Requirements:
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience in acting or healthcare simulation preferred
• Ability to adapt and improvise as necessary
• Reliability and professionalism required
• Preference for candidates committing to multiple sessions
