Position: Wing Kei Assistant Chaplain Role
Become an integral part of Wing Kei as an Assistant Chaplain, focusing on the emotional and spiritual well-being of residents.

Your role will emphasize collaboration with local faith groups and the community.

As an Assistant Chaplain, you will work closely with the Chaplain and volunteers to ensure residents receive holistic care that respects their spiritual and emotional needs. Conduct meaningful spiritual assessments to connect with each resident's unique backgrounds while providing education and support to volunteers. Your work will create a positive environment for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual support to residents and families

• Develop relationships with local faith organizations

• Document residents’ spiritual preferences and histories

• Assist in Palliative Care through visits and support

• Collaborate with staff for quality resident care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology or equivalent required

• Experience in senior care settings preferred

• Completion of Clinical Pastoral Education unit

• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary

• Ability to honor diverse spiritual beliefs
