As a Health Care Aide, you will work in rural communities and health care settings, ensuring quality care under the guidance of regulated professionals.
Your role includes assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and providing emotional support. Collaboration with families and caregivers is essential to meet the individualized care plans for each client.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care with daily living activities
• Support grooming, feeding, and mobility needs
• Deliver respite care for families and caregivers
• Perform health-related tasks like medication assistance
• Maintain cleanliness in living spaces for clients
Requirements:
• Active registration or eligibility with CLHA as HCA
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS-HCP)
• Basic First Aid certification within last 36 months
• Proficient in verbal and written English
• Ability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs
