Health Care Aide

Position: Health Care Aide at Optima Living

In this rewarding role, you will report to the Director of Care while working alongside Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, responding to resident needs, and maintaining their dignity and comfort. The position requires completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program and current registration with CLHA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning

• Document care observations and report changes promptly

• Help support social and recreational activities for residents

• Administer medication and ensure dietary compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of care areas

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program

• Current registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs

• Active CPR and First Aid certification

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Flexibility to work various shifts
