This part-time position (one hour daily) offers the chance to impact children's lives while collaborating with a virtual nurse and school staff. As a Diabetes Support Technician, your role includes insulin administration and proactive health management, ensuring each child receives personalized care. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer insulin injections at school as needed
• Collaborate with a virtual nurse for guidance
• Maintain accurate client records for reporting
• Communicate effectively with care team members
• Escalate any risks or issues as necessary
Requirements:
• Current CPR certification essential
• Strong interest in supporting children with diabetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift clients up to 25 kilograms
• Access to personal transportation required
