Enhance the lives of patients at Hanna Health Centre as a Patient Care Aide in an acute care setting. Deliver direct care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal wellbeing.
In this role, you will actively assist with daily living support and routine care tasks, conducting yourself with genuine respect and interest for all clients. The Health Care Aide position demands efficient communication and attention to health observations while maintaining a safe and organized environment for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support patients with daily living activities according to care plans
• Assist nursing staff in meeting hygiene and nutrition needs
• Participate in and monitor recreational activities for clients
• Maintain a secure and respectful care environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and health care professionals
Requirements:
• Eligible for registration with Alberta’s College of LPNs and HCAs
• Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate required within 18 months
• Preferred experience with Connect Care training
• One year of recent acute-care experience
