We seek dedicated Sonographers for full-time roles in varied acute care environments in Northern BC. This position necessitates performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and consulting with radiologists. You will maintain and operate ultrasound equipment while adhering to strict regulatory and infection control standards. Experience is advantageous, but we welcome new graduates ready to embark on their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams following physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and high standards for imaging
• Review patient clinical history thoroughly
• Handle ultrasound equipment maintenance and operation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered with Sonography Canada and BC regulatory body
• Preferably experienced, but open to new graduates
• Strong grasp of ultrasound protocols and patient care
• Effective communication and adaptability in work
Contribute to patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings across Northern BC.
