Position: Casual Therapy Assistant Position Available
Elevate patient support by working as a Casual Therapy Assistant in the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre. Collaborate with therapists to assist clients in achieving their independence and discharge targets.

This role emphasizes the delivery of therapeutic programming under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists. Experience in therapeutic settings will allow you to contribute significantly to the clients' journey towards independence, alongside handling various related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support therapists in executing therapy programs

• Help clients meet their discharge goals

• Provide effective interventions for functional independence

• Participate actively in therapy team operations

• Perform additional related duties as directed

Requirements:

• Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program

• Essential experience in a therapeutic environment

• Consideration for relevant equivalent training offered

• Preferred familiarity with computer systems

• Dedication to enhancing client quality of life
