Advanced Care Paramedic EMS

As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in Calgary, you will assess and transport patients, administer medications, and utilize advanced life support techniques. You'll lead ALS teams and ensure transport vehicles meet established safety standards. The position requires physical endurance for lifting, carrying, and working in demanding environments, including remote locations and hazardous scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess emergency scenes and provide patient care

• Operate ambulances and ensure readiness of vehicles

• Administer medications and advanced life support

• Lead the ALS team during patient transport

• Maintain compliance with transport safety standards

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with Alberta College of Paramedics

• Current BCLS CPR certification

• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence

• Successful completion of F.A.R.E. test

• Ability to perform full operational duties immediately
