As an Insurance Coordinator, you will directly engage with dialysis patients in your assigned area to educate them about available insurance options like Medicare and Medicaid. Your responsibility will include guiding patients through applications, addressing changes in their situations, and ensuring adherence to necessary claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with patients to educate on insurance options
• Assist with Medicare and Medicaid applications
• Ensure compliance with FMCNA's policies
• Monitor patients' insurance information accuracy
• Prepare monthly reports and handle discrepancies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; healthcare focus preferred
• 2-5 years' related experience in healthcare
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License for local travel
