The Person al Care Assistant is a vital part of our team, providing aid to participants and contributing to the care planning process as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Reporting to the Day Center Manager, the Personal Care Assistant will deliver safe personal care services to participants at the Welbe Health day center.

• Collaborate with different departments within our day centers, building strong connections with participants and team members.
• Work in a lively day center where participants receive full-service care ranging from medical appointments, rehabilitation services, games, and activities, rather than a traditional assisted living facility.

• Provide hands‑on personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to participants, including escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and lifting when transferring participants.
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort when needed, assisting participants with boarding and exiting transport vehicles.
• Oversee activity on the day center floor to assure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service, ensuring participants receive the correct meals, and help with feeding when needed.
• Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and grooming items.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant in California (CNA) preferred.
• Willingness and ability to drive safely to and from participant escort locations, including medical appointments and other care assignments.
• Minimum of one year experience providing personal care to seniors.
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire, with ongoing maintenance thereafter; preferred upon hire.

Base salary ranging from $23.76—$25.92 USD per hour, plus bonus opportunities. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
