Clinical / Non-Exempt / On‑Site
- Precision and clinical expertise: Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images, selecting appropriate imaging techniques based on physician orders and patient condition, evaluating your own work before it reaches a radiologist, and applying depth in MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and contrast administration protocols.
- Safety is the job: Apply MRI safety mindset to every patient, scan, and shift; know and enforce safety zones I–IV, screen thoroughly, assess contrast contraindications carefully, monitor patients during procedures, and respond calmly when something does not go as planned.
- Mastery of standards and systems: Proficient in PACS and imaging software, ensuring patient documentation is clean, complete, and current while maintaining rigorous standards.
- Agility and autonomy: Manage your own workflow, perform routine quality control checks, maintain equipment, and adapt when protocols shift or patient needs change mid‑scan.
- Patient empathy: Provide full attention to each patient, including correct positioning, plain-language explanations of procedures, and genuine calm, especially for those scared, in pain, or tired of medical appointments.
