In this position, you'll work under the guidance of the Director of Care and assist residents with their daily needs while promoting person-centered care.
Your role includes maintaining safety and dignity in various situations, including palliative care and emergencies. This is an opportunity to significantly impact residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic support to meet residents' needs
• Assist with activities of daily living, including mobility
• Document care and report changes to nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies
• Collaborate with recreation staff for engaging activities
Requirements:
• Previous Health Care Aide program completion
• Registered with Alberta's health care authorities
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Communication skills to tactfully interact with residents
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
