Make a meaningful impact as a Health Care Aide at Optima Living, located in Calgary, Alberta. Provide compassionate support for residents' physical and emotional well-being.
As a Health Care Aide reporting to the Director of Care, you will play a critical role in helping residents with their daily activities and maintaining their overall comfort. This position requires a Health Care Aide program completion and current registration with CLHA to deliver exceptional resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care and mobility support
• Document observations and report necessary changes
• Aid in organizing recreational activities with residents
• Administer medication in alignment with care plans
• Maintain cleaning and organization of living quarters
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
• Hold current registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs
• Active CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team
• Flexibility to work various shifts
