Part Time Health Care Aide

In this temporary position, you will support residents under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your responsibilities will include providing basic care, assisting with transfers, and ensuring residents receive proper feeding and treatment as per their care plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Bath and shower residents according to care plans

• Assist with resident transfers to various locations

• Help feed residents during meals and snacks

• Provide routine treatments under nurse direction

• Support residents in activities and social functions

Requirements:

• One year of experience in continuing care preferred

• Post-secondary education is an asset

• Completion of recognized PCA/HCA Certificate Course

• Active registration with CLHA

• Fluent in English, both orally and written
