Position: AHS Dietitian I for Nutritional Care
Join Alberta Health Services as a Dietitian I, providing nutritional expertise in various facilities like Rockyview General Hospital. Focus on patient assessments and care plans for effective nutrition support.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs and developing tailored care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes. You will engage in public health education initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver continued nutrition support. Effective communication with team members and patients is key to ensuring adequate nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess nutritional status and requirements of patients

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans

• Create public health nutrition programs for clients/groups

• Train students and healthcare professionals on nutrition topics

• Track patient outcomes and maintain documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition

• Completion of an accredited internship or training program

• Active eligibility for registration with College of Dietitians of Alberta

• Minimum one year experience in acute care settings

• Proficient time management and interpersonal skills

Deliver impactful nutritional care and education with AHS while enhancing community health as a Dietitian I.
