Occupational Therapist

Position: Occupational Therapist Contract Role
Fueling Brains Education Services in Calgary seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position, providing 10–20 hours per week. Engage with children in inclusive educational settings.

This contract role supports early intervention programming across multiple Academy locations in Calgary and Strathmore. As an Independent Contractor, you will assess pediatric needs and develop personalized intervention plans while collaborating with families and educational professionals. Your expertise will focus on child development, functional independence, and classroom engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pediatric occupational therapy assessments and identify goals

• Develop individualized plans in partnership with families

• Utilize evidence-based, play-based intervention techniques

• Monitor student progress with accurate documentation

• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists

• Experience in pediatric therapy and inclusive settings

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification preferred
