Casual Therapy Assistant at Physiotherapy LTC BW

Enhance client care as a Casual Therapy Assistant at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre. Provide therapeutic programming under the guidance of experienced therapists to help achieve discharge goals.

This position is integral to the therapy team's success, focusing on enhancing clients’ quality of life through targeted interventions. You will work closely with Physical and Occupational Therapists, ensuring clients maximize their functional independence. Previous therapeutic experience is a must for this role, complemented by relevant educational training and preferred computer proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapeutic programming in collaboration with therapists

• Assist clients in reaching their functional independence goals

• Participate as part of the therapy team to improve outcomes

• Take on related duties as necessary for client support

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Requirements:

• Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program

• Essential previous experience in a therapeutic setting

• Relevant training may be considered

• Desired familiarity with computer systems

• Dedication to promoting client autonomy and well-being
