Independent Occupational Therapist

Elevate children's learning with Fueling Brains Education Services as an Independent Occupational Therapist. Focus on early intervention, collaboration, and child development through hands-on, supportive practices.

This role offers an opportunity to impact children's lives by providing approximately 10-20 hours per week during the school year. You'll conduct assessments and develop individualized plans that cater to each child's unique needs. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about early intervention and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pediatric occupational therapy assessments for children

• Develop individualized intervention plans with families and teams

• Provide evidence-based, play-focused therapy strategies

• Support fine motor, sensory, and self-help skill development

• Document progress and maintain communication with families

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists

• Experience in pediatric assessment and school settings

• Knowledge of Alberta PUF/MM programming

• Strong communication and time-management skills
