Nutrition Advisor and Cook for Group Home

As a key member of CMHA Calgary’s Supportive Living team, you will prepare nutritious meals that align with residents’ dietary needs and cultural preferences. You will collaborate with clinical staff to develop meal plans and foster independence through cooking education and budgeting support.
Your role will impact the daily living and overall wellness of adults facing mental illness and intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare two balanced meals daily
• Engage residents in meal planning and cooking
• Develop culturally appropriate menus with residents
• Source food and manage kitchen inventory
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety compliance
Requirements:
• Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
• Food Safety Certification required
• 2+ years in meal preparation or similar setting
• Experience with diverse populations preferred
• Strong meal planning and organizational skills
