In this crucial role, the Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for packaging, distributing, and managing medication inventory under the guidance of licensed Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. This position also involves participating in special projects and building relationships within the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package and distribute medications under supervision
• Manage and replenish medication inventory levels
• Participate in special projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Support daily operation of pharmacy services
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Experience in oncology and knowledge of Connect Care
• Graduate from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant program
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work long periods
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
