Radiation Therapist at Arthur Child Centre

Cancer Care Alberta seeks a Radiation Therapist I to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work with leading-edge equipment and contribute to the planning and delivery of radiation treatments. Alongside oncologists and other health professionals, you’ll assess patient responses and educate them about their treatments while documenting essential care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients

• Assist in treatment planning and simulation

• Document patient treatment plans meticulously

• Educate patients on side effects and management strategies

• Make referrals to other health professionals as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

• Active registration with ACMDTT and CAMRT

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting

• Basic Life Support certification

• Final year students in Radiation Therapy encouraged to apply
