Part-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

In this position, you will conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography.

Your role involves explaining procedures to patients, capturing diagnostic images, and maintaining equipment functionality. Collaborating with healthcare staff enhances patient care outcomes significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations

• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort

• Capture and document imaging for physicians

• Maintain and operate ultrasound machines

• Review patient histories before exams

Requirements:

• Certification from Sonography Canada or ARDMS

• Strong understanding of anatomy and ultrasound physics

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to function independently and in teams

• Good manual dexterity for operating equipment
