The Hanna Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist I to contribute to its pharmacy department. This role focuses on safe and efficient pharmaceutical services to both acute care and long-term care patients. You will engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clinical activities are prioritized while pharmacy technicians handle routine tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services
• Manage ongoing medication therapy for patients
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems
• Supervise compounding and packaging activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy completed
• Current registration with Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Experience in hospital settings or direct patient care
• Familiarity with computerized medication order entry
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
