This position targets experienced therapists dedicated to early childhood development. You will assess pediatric needs, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams. With approximately 10–20 hours per week during the school year, this role provides impactful work in educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of children’s strengths and needs
• Create individualized therapy plans in collaboration with families
• Use play-based methods to support functional skills development
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult with educators and caregivers for effective implementation
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Experience in pediatric settings; school-based preferred
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
This role strengthens independence and functional development for children in engaging educational settings.
