In this Child Life Specialist role, you will plan and implement impactful art therapy experiences for children facing hospitalization. Working closely with inpatient and outpatient units, you will foster emotional and developmental growth through creative expression. Your expertise will collaborate with healthcare teams, providing in-service education and supervision to students and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individual and group art therapy sessions

• Utilize art therapy as a diagnostic and treatment tool

• Offer guidance to art therapy students and volunteers

• Educate staff on principles and practices of art therapy

• Document and maintain relevant statistical information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Psychology, or related field

• Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts required

• Master's Degree in Art Therapy preferred

• Minimum two years of experience in acute care

• Registration with Professional Art Therapy Association
