Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct coding and analysis of patient records accurately

• Utilize ICD-10-CA/CCI codes following established methodologies

• Abstract information adhering to CIHI standards

• Document productivity in line with departmental expectations

• Complete all required coding visits by monthly deadlines

Requirements:

• Accredited degree in Health Information Management

• Certification from Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)

• 2-3 years experience in NACRS ER coding preferred

• Familiarity with CIHI products and standards necessary

• Effective collaborative skills for team interactions
