Dedicated Health Care Aide

Position: Dedicated Health Care Aide at AgeCare
Support the health and well-being of seniors with Age Care as a Health Care Aide. This essential role involves providing personal care and ensuring safety in a long-term care setting.

Age Care is focused on prioritizing the well-being of our residents by creating a caring, supportive environment. As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the supervision of Community Care RN Case Managers, carrying out personal care duties and adhering to necessary regulations. You'll play an active role in maintaining a safe space for residents while helping to respond to their needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to client and family needs effectively

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of environments

• Report client safety concerns immediately

• Collaborate with other agencies in resident care

• Participate in in-service training for skill development

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Health Care Aide program

• Experience working with seniors in healthcare settings

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification preferred

• Must provide or be willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
