At Age Care, Health Care Aides work under the guidance of Staff Nurses to provide crucial support to residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care routines and facilitating mobility throughout the facility. This position is ideal for compassionate individuals who thrive in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene and comfort bathing

• Transfer residents safely with mechanical aids

• Support residents with feeding and dietary needs

• Carry out treatments as directed by nurses

• Help residents participate in social functions

Requirements:

• Minimum one year in a care environment preferred

• Certificate in Personal Care Aide required

• Active registration with CLHA in Alberta

• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written

• Relevant post-secondary education is valuable
