This role reports to the Crisis Hub Manager and focuses on providing effective crisis response to those in need within the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. Your responsibilities will include assessing crises, offering timely interventions, and connecting individuals with community resources. The Gędęǫ’ Crisis Clinician will engage with community members through various channels, including mobile response and direct support in walk-in situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess individuals in crisis for appropriate intervention
• Provide direct crisis support via telephone and in-person
• Establish connections to community services and resources
• Collaborate with on-duty Six Nations Police
• Facilitate walk-in and mobile crisis interventions
Requirements:
• Experience in crisis intervention or mental health
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in team settings
• Compassion for diverse community members
• Commitment to community wellness initiatives
Support the mental health of the Six Nations community by delivering impactful crisis intervention services.
