Position: Join AgeCare as a Health Care Aide
Become a Health Care Aide at Age Care and provide essential support that improves residents' quality of life.

Your role will directly affect the daily comfort and well-being of seniors.

As a Health Care Aide at Age Care, you will be an integral member of the care team, responsible for assisting residents with daily care routines. Under the guidance of a Staff Nurse, your duties will include offering personal hygiene support, facilitating mobility, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. Your work will be crucial in building a community atmosphere that promotes dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bath and assist residents according to care plans

• Transfer residents safely using proper equipment

• Ensure residents receive adequate nutrition and hydration

• Provide effective treatments under nurse supervision

• Accompany residents to dining and recreational functions

Requirements:

• One year experience in a care setting preferred

• Recognized PCA/HCA Certificate mandatory

• Registration with CLHA needed

• Must be fluent in English

• Post-secondary education is advantageous
