Position: Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee
Join Age Care Shawnee in Calgary as a Health Care Aide and provide compassionate care to residents. This temporary part-time position promotes well-being through comprehensive support.

In this role, you will work collaboratively within a care team, applying your skills to assist residents with everyday needs. Your responsibilities will cover hygiene support, dietary assistance, and mobility help, all under the guidance of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Making a difference in residents' lives is at the heart of your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing and personal grooming of residents

• Use equipment to safely transfer residents as needed

• Feed residents according to their care plans

• Carry out routine treatment and care procedures

• Facilitate resident participation in activities and meals

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a related field preferred

• Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent required

• Active registration with the CLHA necessary

• Fluent English communication skills required

• Post-secondary education is a beneficial asset
