Part-Time Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

Contribute to patient care at Brockville General Hospital as a part-time Respiratory Therapist. This temporary role offers a chance to work collaboratively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This position supports the Respiratory Therapy Team's goals under the supervision of the Allied Health Manager. Ideal candidates should excel in comprehensive respiratory care while actively participating in quality improvement and risk management initiatives. Strong communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in line with Ontario's Respiratory Therapy standards

• Engage with the Critical Care Outreach Team for expanded patient impact

• Participate in staff education and inter-professional training

• Contribute to patient education and community health initiatives

• Collaborate in program evaluations and departmental improvements

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Respiratory Therapy program

• Active member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario

• Strong knowledge of health professions legislation

• Proven track record in service excellence and education

• Ability to work flexible hours and maintain good attendance
