Patient-Focused Pharmacist Role

In this role at Calgary Co-op Pharmacies, you'll lead efforts to provide superior customer experiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include evaluating and dispensing prescriptions, as well as administering injections. You’ll work closely with pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with all regulations while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications with a focus on patient safety

• Counsel patients on medication use and side effects

• Administer vaccinations as per health guidelines

• Maintain pharmacy inventory according to budget

• Prepare operational reports and assist in statistical analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc. Pharm)

• Licensed with Alberta College of Pharmacists

• Strong patient relations and professionalism

• Experience in retail pharmacy is an asset

• Valid authorization for injection administration
