Join CASA's innovative Classrooms program and deliver school-based mental health support. In this permanent role, you will leverage your expertise in psychology, social work, or nursing to formulate diagnoses and build parenting skills. You'll be part of a team focused on resilience-building and advocacy for youth, making a tangible difference in their emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma-focused mental health therapy to children and families
• Build parenting skills for caregivers with exceptional needs
• Formulate diagnoses using DSM-5-TR and other tools
• Conduct case management and case conferences
• Supervise student placements and enhance staff knowledge
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master’s in psychology, social work, or nursing
• Minimum two years in child and family mental health
• Active registration with relevant professional bodies
• Satisfactory Criminal Records and Child Intervention Checks
• Strong commitment to holistic care approaches
