Pharmacy Technician

Become a Pharmacy Technician with a leading compounding pharmacy in Calgary. This role involves sterile drug preparation, order entry, and assisting with various pharmacy operations.

Our established healthcare provider in Calgary is seeking a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will prepare sterile prescriptions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your work will primarily include cleanroom production, quality assurance, and collaboration with pharmacy and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile prescriptions using aseptic techniques

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Perform inventory management and staging activities

• Collaborate with pharmacy and production teams

• Maintain training and perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Diploma from Alberta College of Pharmacy

• Eligibility for registration with Alberta College of Pharmacy

• Licensed Regulated Pharmacy Technician in Alberta

• IV/sterile compounding experience is preferred
