Position: Care Aide Role at AgeCare Walden
Enhance residents' lives as a Health Care Aide at Age Care Walden Heights in Calgary. Provide compassionate care and support under the guidance of licensed nursing professionals.

As a Health Care Aide, you will work in a collaborative environment focused on resident-centered care. Reporting to a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll perform various personal care duties, ensuring that all residents receive attention tailored to their unique needs. Your insights will contribute to the Nursing Care Plan, fostering an atmosphere of respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer personal care and observe residents’ health

• Collaborate with the care team on Nursing Care Plans

• Assist in residents’ mobility and well-being

• Identify unsafe practices and report immediately

• Engage in community activities with residents

Requirements:

• Completion of the Health Care Aide program or equivalent

• Experience in the senior care services sector

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Recommended Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Willingness and ability to perform lifting tasks
