In this full-time role, you will work under the supervision of experienced physicians and contribute significantly to patient treatment plans.
Your role will focus on taking histories, performing exams, and facilitating patient education while ensuring smooth transitions during admissions and discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
• Execute treatment plans under supervision
• Coordinate care with nursing and allied health teams
• Educate patients and their families about procedures
• Ensure safe transitions for admitted and discharged patients
Requirements:
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Eligibility for CPSA registration is mandatory
• Preferred recent experience in acute care settings
• Completion of a criminal record check is necessary
