In this part-time role, you will perform polysomnographic sleep studies and manage therapeutic interventions for individuals with various sleep disorders. Your duties include calibrating sophisticated equipment, providing technical support, and educating patients and families about sleep health and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct polysomnographic sleep studies for patients
• Perform arterial blood gas monitoring and other interventions
• Educate clients and families on sleep disorders
• Calibrate and troubleshoot sleep-related equipment
• Coordinate funding options for patients and families
Requirements:
• Registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• Eligible for related Alberta regulatory professions
• Experience with sleep health and monitoring processes
• Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting
• Knowledge of patient education in sleep disorders
