Health Care Aide

Position: Health Care Aide at AgeCare
Support residents at Age Care Dawson as a Health Care Aide. Deliver essential care and companionship while ensuring health and safety in a vibrant facility.

In this part-time role, you will work influenced by a team-oriented mindset to deliver comprehensive care services under the guidance of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your responsibilities will encompass various forms of assistance, such as personal hygiene, meal support, and mobility aid to enhance residents' overall well-being and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with bathing, showering, and hygiene routines

• Feed and assist residents during meal times

• Conduct safe transfers using lifts and belts

• Promote mobility by assisting residents to activities

• Administer basic care procedures as directed

Requirements:

• Preferred one year of experience in similar settings

• Valid Personal Care Aide Certificate or equivalent training

• Active registration with CLHA of Alberta

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Post-secondary education preferred
