In this key position, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team, providing essential patient care across various communities. Your responsibilities include liaison with healthcare providers, offering patient education, and executing emergency medical interventions. This role presents growth opportunities and allows you to connect deeply with the patients in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide pre-hospital care per provincial regulations
• Liaise with allied health providers and physicians
• Educate patients on self-management and ongoing support
• Deliver appropriate emergency medical care as needed
• Understand and address public health and social issues
Requirements:
• Certification under the Ambulance Act of Ontario
• Valid A-EMCA certification required within 60 days
• Diploma in Paramedicine and Semi-Automatic Defibrillation certification
• Experience in symptom relief drug administration
• Cree language proficiency is an asset
